The period of registration is 3 years.

Registered Security Professionals are required to provide evidence of ongoing professional development to support the application for re-registration. The prerequisites for re-registration will be provided by the Registry.

The Secretariat will remind registrants of the requirements and prerequisites of re-registration at least six months before the expiry of registration.

Enrolled Security Practitioners are not entitled to renew their enrolment as it is expected that they will acheive the requirements for Registration as a Security Professional.

Exceptions may be considered by the Registry and  Registrar on a case-by-case basis. If an exception is required the applicant should write to the Executive Officer, detailing the circumstances and seeking an Extension of their Enrolled status.
